Jude’s Tribe is a cadre of warriors who join together in fighting against a very rare genetic disease called Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP). Members of Jude’s Tribe help provide awareness about RCDP, raise support to aid in research/clinical trial development, and invest in RhizoKids through financial or physical means.
Jude’s Tribe was founded in support of a special, beautiful little warrior named Jude Sullivan Peters.
Jude has RCDP is one of less than 60 known cases in the world. His chances for survival at birth were slim to none. His parents, Sully & Hannah Peters have fought extremely hard for their baby boy, who we affectionately call the “Brave Little Warrior”. Jude sees dozens of specialists, graces through a myriad of occupational, physical and speech therapy and is defying the odds every single day. Jude’s family travels to Delaware every few months for him to see his main medical team at AI Alfred DuPont Hospital. His story is one of hope and faith in adversity, bringing light and love to thousands of people all over the world!
Jude is now 2 years old and miraculously, we have been told there is new treatment that has the potential to save his life but it lacks funding and national awareness. His Mama has written a blog about Jude and people from around the world follow his Journey (https://hannahkatelynpeters.wordpress.com/)
Jude resides in Charlotte with his parents Sullivan and Hannah Peters and his grandparents Keith and Darla Collins.
